The architects' brief was to generate a "cube of ice, changing colour" above the entry steps to these imposing commercial headquarters in London. Light sources are set for easy access within the lobby, and fibres convey light into the canopy itself.

Situated next to Lloyds modern complex, the simplicity and effectiveness of the design is greatly appreciated - as is the facility for the colour animation to change in speed and direction from the easily-operated bespoke controls
