Basilica Blue Glass Chandelier

This stunning Chandelier has been renamed 'Oh, My God' by its owners - its truly stunning impact being viewed through a vast picture window as friends and family approach their house.

The Basilica Blue is formed from multiple twisted glass snakes which are enriched and caused to writhe by the addition of two fibre optic lighting systems, for colour change & fade movement.   Discreet and variably focused lightheads were set in the ceiling above the stairwell to surround the central chandelier, projecting light all around, onto and through its dynamic form.

Great care was taken here to select complimentary colour shades to enrich and enhance the tinted glass through various eliding hues of blue and warm magentas.

And the lightsources?  Up in the attic, out of harm's way, but easily accessed for maintenance.
