The Van Loon Museum, Amsterdam

The Van Loon Museum is housed in a 17th Century building in the heart of the Canal District of Amsterdam.

The 'painted room' features at its centre a magnificient chandelier, and huge mural art all around the walls.

A special system was developed, whereby the whole fibre optic system was housed, concealed, above a moulded plaster ceiling rose through which the chandelier was re-hung.

Forty lensed heads were used to distribute light evenly around all the walls, special care being taken to ensure that adverse reflections were avoided from the many favoured viewing angles.
